Science 8
Today we finalized our Arthropod Activities. All Invertebrate charts and vocabulary are allowed as notes for the test on Friday. Students were encouraged to complete, add to, or finalize the study chart today with extra time. We will review tomorrow as a class and play vocabulary review Bingo as well.

We discussed the WWII video that was viewed yesterday. Video study guides should have been turned in for points.
We began taking notes on WWII. Notes will be turned in and graded EVERY DAY. It is the student's responsibility to make sure their notes are in the basket. If the notes are in your notebook, you will receive a zero for that day - the must be TURNED IN in order to receive points.
Students will be able to use their notes at the end of the WWII unit on the test or quiz.

Health 7
Students took their Human Growth and Development test in class today. Students who were gone due to the track meet need to make up the test druing a study hall or come in after school on Tuesday to take the test.
Track students should be coming in ahead of time to get work they will miss because of away meets. Very few students are doing this.

This week we are starting off with out district writing assessment.

We've started our last group presentations - Rocks! Each class has a different assignment tonight, but all are due tomorrow. Each class will have a quiz on rocks on Wednesday. After that, we start our new topics in astronomy!!

The classes are doing a great job so far on their subject presentations. We have finished plate tectonics, earthquakes, and volcanoes. Tomorrow there will be a mineral quiz, which will complete our mineral section. Also due tomorrow is the mineral packet that was given out on Tuesday. The rock groups will begin their presentations on Monday May 4.
