7th grade math (moran)

Mid-Chapter Practice on page 170, problems 1-20. Also, on page 572 &573, Lessons 4-3/4-4 problems 2-26 EVEN. Class had 25 minutes of working time, many that used the time well are almost done.

Today students turned in their signed science test and coinciding assignment if they scored a 78% or below. We began watching the last episode of Storm Chasers from the Discovery channel.

Worked on circulatory system study guide in class. We talked about pulse, heart rate, located and calculated radial and carotid pulses.

Introduction to Genetics. Chapter 3...vocabulary started, Crossword assigned (Due on Wednesday) and a class trait survey today! No new prefix list this week...students should review "E" through "IKL"

We finished up Gulliver's Travels today. Second Hour needs to finish Tuesday. A short review activity will take place Tuesday. We will be choosing our next book as well.

8th gr. Spanish FLEX

Many of the FLEX students were gone on the Honor Roll field trip today. Those remaining saw the video Mexico's Great Pyramids.
