Lesson 9.3, Part 2. Pages 522-524. Problems 65, 66, 69-71, 76, 84, 86, 90, 94, 100. Quiz 1 problems 1-25.
Science 7
Today the plate tectonic groups began their presentations. Most classes did not finish all of their notes, so they will continue tomorrow as well.
Science 8
Students watched a video called the Seasonal Forrest from the Planet Earth series as an introduction to Plants. We will continue this tomorrow.
Literature 8
We finished the movie "Charly" today and made a comparison between our short story and the movie. The students will be comparing the 1968 version to a 2005 production titled Flowers for Algernon.
Social Studies 8
The Civil War Test. Notes allowed.
No extra time allowed - organization was important on this test.
Notes needed to be turned in with the test to make sure there was no passing off of notes to students in other hours who did not participate in taking notes over the last week.

Science 7
We continued our presentations in the lab today. Most groups are finishing up and have just to print out a final copy tomorrow in lab. Most have been working very hard and have found unique ways to bring their topics to life:) We will finish up tomorrow, with presentations starting on Thursday/Friday.
