7th Grade Math
Notes were graded. Homework: Page 575, lesson 5-5 (2-30 even), page 576 lesson 5-6 (1-40), and lesson 5-7 (2-28 even).
Pre-Algebra
Notes were graded. Homework: Page 628, lesson 5-5 (2-30 even), lesson 5-6 (2-20 even), and lesson 5-7 (2-14 even).
Science 7
The students were able to see their test grades today. We discussed the test, and students were allowed to make corrections to the test. Also today, students received the final paper on Weathering and Soil Formation. This assignment is due on Monday.

We corrected our first review for Anthropology. We also discussed the options for the Unit 5 projects. The students saw various examples of what the various options are. The projects for unit 5 are due on Thursday 1/29/09.

Social Studies 7
Students began their first review sheet in class for Anthropology. We will continue to discuss and complete this assignment tomorrow in class.
Science 8
Showcase Presentations finished up today. Another great showing on the part of my students. Unfortunately some students choose not to complete this assignment.
The chapter 4 quiz is tomorrow. Students can define the key terms on page 132 for extra credit and can then use them as notes on the quiz.

This is the end...Today we took the Red Badge of Courage book test. All review assignments and the book were allowed. I hope they did well!
