We practiced metric conversions today as a large group. A short practice sheet was assigned. Most finished using their work time wisely!

Literature 8

I read chapter 2 to the class.

Social Studies 8

Review of physical features and country locations of Latin America. Review of countries and capitals. The Map Test will be on Tuesday - spelling will count.
Review of Latin America information (test on Monday), then we completed taking notes on Latin America.
Assignment: study your notes for the test on Monday, study your maps and capitals for the map test on Tuesday.

Applied Math 7

Test 2 today. No homework.

Assignment: 2-8 Packet.
Missing work is posted on the board AND the grade sheets.

Health 8

Took noteson 6 Principles of Training. Students should begin working on their Fitness Plan, which is due on October 2. Parents must verify workouts performed with a signature.

Test on circulatory system and fitness concepts on Monday.

Health 7

Students need to read over their sheets on tobacco and marijuana.
