Science 7

Today we began to read about wave and wind erosion. Students worked on the key terms and concepts. Chapter 3 test is looking like it's going to fall on Wednesday or Thursday of next week, depending on each class.

Science 8

Disease research in our classroom continues. A list of vocabulary terms were assigned today and are due on Wednesday by the end of class.
No prefix list due to the shortened week.

Literature 8

First Hour: We reviewed the last two chapters and had a assignment focusing on realistic fiction qualities...due Tuesday!

Second Hour: We read chapter 14. A vocabulary assignment was given for chapters 12-13 and 14-15. This is due on Wednesday!

Parent Teacher Conferences

Mark your calendars...conferences are being held this week on Tuesday from 4-7 pm and again on Thursday morning from 7:45-11:45

We continue our textbook unit by identifying important information out of Chapter 8, Section 4.
Assignment: Complete the "War of 1812" Notes worksheet, paying attention to what information is provided. Less help will be provided on notes worksheets beginning tomorrow.

We are planning our disease mini research project. Diseases were assigned and we began researching the old fashioned way using BOOKS!

First Hour: We read and discussed chapter 12 & 13.
Second Hour: We read and discussed chapter 13.

Social Studies 8

Read through Chapter 8, Section 3 and identified important informaion as a class.
Homework: "The Coming of War" worksheet which is helping us to learn what makes good notes.

Applied Math 7

Test 14.
No homework.
