Algebra
Lesson 11.6, jpart 2. Pages 680-682. Problems 32-33, 42-45, 50-52. Quiz 2 (1-13). Mid-chapter test on Thursday.
Science 8
Today we had the day to type up our research. Tomorrow presentations begin. It looks as though our test on Invertebrates will be next week Thursday.

We had our last research day in class for our invertebrate subject. Tomorrow we will be typing and completing our assignment. Remember that your vocabulary should also be done this week Wednesday.
Literature 8
We read chapter 31 today in class. The new study guide was passed out and time was given to start it. Remember that the extra credit illustration is due this Thursday.

Pre-Algebra
Students took quiz today. Homework is practice test page 595. Problems 1-25. Chapter 12 test tomorrow. Notes also due.
Science 8
The students were given a list of vocabulary for the Invertebrate Unit. The vocabulary covers chapters 1 & 2 and will be allowed as notes on the test.
We started by dividing up our invertebrate groups. Students will be designing an assignment similar to ones we have used in class. A sample was given as an assignment today on Sponges: Phylum Porifera. They will have class time to research, plan and type their assignment. Students will be expected to work during the time provided and stay on task. Any extra time needed will have to take place after school. This will be finished by Wednesday.
