Social Studies 8
Students viewed and evaluated the class averages for yesterday's map test. We discussed that at this point in the year, it is each student's responsibility to be studying for their map tests. The remaining projects we are doing this semester are very time-intensive and Mr. Whitmore and Ms. Francoeur would prefer to have students be responsible for studying for map tests, rather than taking class time to "force" students to study.
Students completed a study guide about the "Australia" video which previews our next unit.
The Oceania Map Test is scheduled for Friday, January 7. This is the first Friday back from break. The Oceania Map Test only consists of 15 points. It is important that students STUDY for this test OUTSIDE of class.

Lesson 45: Multiplying Decimal Numbers.
No homework today for most students because we managed to get an entire lesson completed, corrected, AND turned in - in only one class period! This is very exciting. If you didn't complete your lesson, you have homework.
