Discussed Chapter 8, Section 1: Jefferson Becomes President. Highlights of the discussion included the election of 1800 which resulted in the 12th Amendment and the Supreme Court case of Marbury v. Madison and the power of judicial review.

Our Taxomomic Key lab was finished up today. Students had time to work on a review assignment for Chapter 1.3: Domains and Kingdoms pages 26-29. The assignment is due at the start of class tomorrow.
