Science 7

Sedimentary rock was discussed in class today. Students should be able to identify a sedimentary rock and tell whether it is clastic, organic or chemical.

Social Studies 7

All students worked on researching their topic for the history report.

Applied Math

Students practiced basic facts in multiplication and division. Assignment: p. 209-210 #9-30

Social Studies 8

Studnets continued taking notes on Chapter 3, Section 2 - The New England Colonies.
No Assignment.

Algebra

Students took Mid-chapter 7 test. No homework.

7th grade math

Students took chapter 6 test and quiz. No homework.

Pre-Algebra

Went over translations, "slides" with students. Homework: Lesson 6-8, pages 298-299. Problems 6-14 and 16-20.

Literature 8

Corrected review question s from Chapters 1-5. Read chapter 6 in class.

Science 8

Discussed Internet Lab Activity: At The Watersedge.
Corrected immunity packet, and continue our virus work. The students need to complete a crossword based on a article reading about virus classification,reproduction, and structure.

FRENCH 7TH GRADE

BONJOUR PARENTS OF MY 7TH GRADE STUDENTS. THIS WEEK WED AND THURS CLASSES MADE VALENTINES TO TAKE HOME. THE ASSIGNMENT WAS TO WRITE EVERYTHING IN THE FRENCH LANGUAGE. FRENCH IS THE LANGUAGE OF LOVE, YOU KNOW. YOUR STUDENTS CAN TRANSLATE FOR YOU. THE OTHER PART OF THE ASSIGNMENT WAS TO BRING ME A NOTE FROM HOME SO THAT I KNOW THAT YOU RECEIVED IT.
