Health 7

Students played a review game for their test on Friday.
Test will cover pp. 159-165; 216-224; wkshts 28,27,38. Students will also have to label the male and female reproductive systems on the test.

Health 8

Students learned how to give care for an unconscious choking adult.
Extra-credit puzzles were handed out.
Test on adult CPR on Friday.

Many students have not turned in their Nutrition projects yet. They need to be in by the end of the week to receive credit.

Set 42 was done together in class with an extra credit option for students to complete independently.

Applied Math 8

Chapter 3 Tests were given back today. Students were given the option to correct the tests (with the use of their books and notes) for a half-point back on each problem corrected. Test corrections are due tomorrow.

Science 8

Our last research day in the computer lab today. Students should finish answering their questions about the genetic disorder their "child" inherited.
Read chapter 4.1 notes...provided today.

Showcase is due on the 19th...be ready.

Literature 8

I read chapter 15-16 to the class. A review assignment was give for chapters 13-16. They had about 15 minutes of class for work time.

Social Studies 8

Chapter 11 Quiz today! Grades will hopefully be posted on Family Access by the end of the day.
Assignment: Read Chapter 12 (Western Europe) Sections 1-2 and complete sections 1-2 of the study guide. Please be responsible for your study guide - it does not benefit you to pick up a blank one every day. Also, there are a limited amount of extra copies available.
