Again, we continued our readings and discussions on anthropology. Mrs. Moran's class took Readings Assignment home to complete.

Science 8

We are finishing up our meiosis "offspring" project. A chapter 3.4 review assignment was passed out as homework for Monday.

Literature 8

I read chapter 9 to the class. I assigned 10-12 with review question/vocabulary from 7-12. This assignment is due on Monday. Friday will be a work/help day.

Social Studies 8

Today we begin our study of Europe. We discussed that Europe is a giant peninsula made up of many smaller peninsulas. We briefly reviewed important landforms such as the Alps, and natural resources found in Europe such as uranium, hydroelectric power, and geothermal power.

Students are to read Section 2 (Classical Greece and Rome) and complete the Europe map IN CLASS.
