droughts

measuring rain/snow fall.

Students also took some notes in class about this topic. While taking the notes, we were introduced to how to summarize and pull out the important pieces - an effective way of note taking.

Social Studies 7

Today we spent some time in class talking about the importance and meaning of Veterans Day. This lead to some great discussions! We also continued in our readings of Sociology with corresponding work material.

Applied Math 7

In 7th grade this week we are spending time reviewing and enforcing skills with fractions. Today's packet covers adding and subtracting fractions with like denominators. Remember, the denominator does NOT change in addition or subtraction.
