Students worked on refusal skills in situations where there is group pressure to use.
Students who did not complete the Peer Pressure Interview with a parent should get that done and turned in.

Students should also continue working on semester health goal and tracking their progress in their journals.

Don't forget Nutrition Unit test on 12/1. It will be an open notes/book test, so please have all materials organized and with you in class on Monday. You will not be permitted to go to your locker to retrieve materials.

Science 7

We have completed our Precipitation/Storms unit, so the students are watching the movie Twister. The movie brings up some great points of conversation, especially (so far) when they are talking about the Fujita scale, the diameter of various tornadoes and precipitation that may accompany the storm.

We have been discussing Unit 4, Sociology for the past few weeks. Today, students began a series of different reviews for an upcoming test. This assignment was done in class. Quite a few students completed the worksheet, those that did not finish will be given some time to complete the assignment before we discuss it as a class.

Language Arts - 8 (11/24-11/25)
