Lesson 6.1, pages 332-339. Problems 22-54 evens, 56, 63, 66-68, 72, 76, 80, 86 and 87.

Science 7

The test from last week, Weathering and Soil Formation, was given back today. These need to be brought back to school by 1/28/10 - signed. They did a great job with the topic!
Today we moved on to a new chapter, Erosion and Deposition. The key terms/concepts on page 66 are due tomorrow.

Math 7 (Moran)

We're continuing with fractions today (adding and subtracting). Lesson 6-2, pgs. 244-247, problem #'s 15-39 and 43-50 (review)

Science 8

Welcome to second semester!
We started our new book which will lead us from microbes to plants. Today we discussed characteristics of living things. Students were given a picture of an object to describe the life qualities it has...due tomorrow.

Literature 8

Welcome to my new group of students. Today we discussed Genres and they were given an assignment to help us learn the definitions of each genre.

Social Studies 8

Today we start our semester of U.S. History. Students were made aware of this semester's expectations.

Health 7

Began our communications unit by defining comunication and engaging in an activity to demonstrate the types of communication.
Assignment: complete Back to Back summary sheet.

Health 8

Introduced the skeletal system and worked on bone identification.
Assignment: Read pp. 12-18; get syllabus signed
