8th gr. Spanish FLEX

The family tree assignment was collected. Students were given time to review the family vocabulary. After a few minutes, the students completed the quiz on the family vocabulary.

Tomorrow we will start learning how to tell time in Spanish.

Students learned how to care for sudden illnesses in class today.

Students need to complete wrksht 38 using pp. 220-224. Study diagrams for test on Wednesday.
Reminder, test covers pp. 159-165; 216-224 and male/female reproductive diagrams.

Science 8

We corrected today's assignment...Blood Type Pedigree Practice. We took a few notes on 4.2 Genetic Disorders and had a review assignment due tomorrow.

Science Showcase is one week from today...Monday, Jan. 18!

Literature 8

First Hour...We finished reading pages 164-168. Discussed study questions for that section and had a vocabulary review.

Second Hour...We finished reading chapter 7. Complete the study questions.

Social Studies 8

Review of East/Southeast Map (Test on January 13)
Final day in the computer lab.
-Students who did not finish their presentations needed to do so and turn them in.
-Groups view each other's presentations
-Groups rank the presentations
