This week we are watching a movie, Iron Will, which has the same themes as the story we finished before break. During the movie, we will be taking notes on three positive characteristics the main character displays which contribute to his ability to participate in a dog sled race. On Thursday, we will use these notes to write an in-class essay.
The vocabulary for this week will be a little different from the past. The remainder of the vocabulary words for this year will be based around root words. We will be doing some practice activities with different prefixes, roots, and suffixes. The practice packets will be due on Friday.
