Algebra

Lesson 5.7, pages 319-322. Problems 11-19, 23-27 and quiz 3 (1-13). Quiz on chapter five tomorrow, test on Thursday.

Science 8

Science Showcase continues for today. All presentations will be finished.

Chapter 4 test on Thursday...study. Vocabulary definitions for extra credit are due tomorrow at the start of class.

Literature 8

First Hour: We continued to watch the movie "I am the Cheese". We will finish it tomorrow.

Second Hour: We listened to chapters 17 & 18. Since I discuss all review questions with the class...I will be grading them (compiled from chapters 1-18) for a participation grade. All students have had the opportunity to write them in during class time. They should be organized and ready for inspection tomorrow. The book test is Thursday.

Health 7

We discussed abstinence, preventative behaviors and risk behaviors. Students viewed a video about overcoming peer pressure as it relates to sex.

Health 8

Students performed several activities to classify foods according to the food guide pyramid.

Social Studies 8

Review of the material covered in Chapter 29.
Chapter 29 quiz today - notes allowed.
Students who were absent last week and/or Monday (yesterday) need to complete their reading study guides before taking the test.
