Science 7

Today we wrapped up our discovery learning/creating. Each student was to turn in a final rational or journal piece in regards to their flying apparatus. Then, today in their groups, they gave short presentations about their designs and outcomes of the flying apparatus.

7th Grade Math

Students took a mid-chapter test and quiz today. No homework.

Pre-Algebra

Mid-chapter practice on page 86. Problems 1-20. Lesson 2-4 worksheets, all. Enrichment worksheet is extra credit. Mid-chapter test, quiz, and note grade tomorrow.

Algebra

Lesson 2.6, pages 103-105. Problems 26-68 even and 70,71,79,80. Mid-chapter test and note grade tomorrow.

Literature 8

Today we reviewed possible novels for reading in class.

Science 8

Introduction to the cell today. We took a few notes and worked in groups to learn about the people behind the discovery of the cell.

Family and Consumer Education 7

In seventh grade Family and Consumer Education the students are in the midst of thier construction unit. The students would say we are sewing! Thier projects should be completed by Oct. 17th. Look for them to be coming home with your son/daughter.

Family and Comsumer Education 8

The 8th grade Family and Consumer Ed classes are either working on their restaurant simulation or working on their "Respecting Diversity " unit.
