Algebra

Chapter 7 review. Pages 440-442. Problems 1-32. Test and quiz tomorrow.

7th grade math

Lesson 7-7, page 321. Problems 9-23 and 25-31.

Pre-Algebra

Chapter 9 review, pages 458-459. Problems 9-33. Test and notes tomorrow.

Science 7

Yesterday we began our sound lab outside. The students listened for ambient noises and discussed other possible variables that would interfere with their ability to hear the sounds. It was clear to the students that they had to listen harder for the whale sounds as compared to man-made sounds. Today we finished up our JASON Mission 5 readings.
As a reminder, sturgeon extra credit is due on Monday 3/16/09 as well as the permission slips.

Social Studies 7

We are continuing in the history chapter. The students took notes on an outline and are completing their crossword puzzle for the chapter this week.

Science 8

We reviewed for the chapter 3 test on Friday. STUDY!
Reminders: All chapter 3 extra credit is due on Friday.
Showcase is due on Wednesday March 25!

Students and Parents: I will be out of the building on Friday and Monday. I will be unable to do my blog for those two days so...here it is!

Today we read chapter 11 together...No Homework.

Social Studies 8

Students were given the full hour in the computer lab to begin constructing their Civil War Timelines using either Timeliner or Inspiration. These timelines are due at the end of the hour tomorrow and will need to be accurate, complete, and easy to read.
