Science 7

Today we started our Water Erosion and land form labs. We will be continuing this for the next few days!

Social Studies 7

Today some classes continued to work on the History readings while other classes watch a documentary on primary sources.

Algebra

Lesson 6.3, pages 349-351. Problems 12-38 even, 39,40,45,50,62,65 and quiz 1 1-15. Quiz and test on Friday.

7th Grade Math

Lesson 6-4, pages 256-257. Problems 11-35 and 41-49. Test and quiz on Friday.

Pre-Algebra

Work on 7-3 and 7-2 worksheet packet. Word story problem side is extra-credit.

Science 8

Out Alien Taxonomic Key was corrected today and a 5 Kingdom/domain review chart was filled in collectively as a class. A copy will be made available for absent students.

Literature 8

Today's assignment was corrected. We began reading a science fiction short story together in class. "Contagion"

Applied Math 7

Lesson 54: Rectangular Area, Part 1

Applied Math 8

Chapter 4 Review - p. 186-188 #1-66.

Social Studies 8


Today students worked in their groups to research an American that was influential to the writing of the Declaration of Independence. Students were instructed to research ideas and opinions of these people and find out how they are related to the Declaraion of Independence. Americans that students researched included Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, Thomas Paine, Samuel Adams, John Hancock, and Abigail Adams. Students will be presenting their information to the class tomorrow.
