Science 7
We discussed Chapter 1, section 2 - which they read yesterday. Their assignment is to complete the GRS 1.2 for tomorrow. Each class had a minimum of 15 minutes to work during class time (some had 20). If they chose to use their time wisely, many completely finished or are very close to finishing.
Health 8
We took our muscles and bones test in class today. Hope you did well!! If you did not finish in class, read pp. 78-84 on the cardiovascular system for homework.
Science 8
The Scientific Method quiz was finished up today. Notes on 1.3 Why Study Science?
I also provided an extra credit assignment due tomorrow as an introduction to ch. 1.4 Careers in Science.

Literature 8
Our choice was made today. Both class periods choose to read And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie. We will begin our novel on Monday. We are currently reading a Science Fiction short story called Contagion in class.
Social Studies 8
Today we located and labeled physical features, provinces, and capitals on the map of Canada. The Canada map test will be NEXT FRIDAY (9/25). Study your maps every day!
Assignment: Complete your Canada map and list of provinces and capitals if you did not do so in class today. Points will be given tomorrow for completion.
Applied Math 8
Mid-Chapter Test Review. p. 74 #1-15.
Amnesty Day - any missing assignment turned in today (and today only) will not receive the 10% deduction for being late!
