HW: 4-6 packet due tomorrow. Still lots of late work. New grade sheets were posted today.

Social Studies 8

East Asia Map Day - lots of studying as a class to get off to a good start. The test will be next Wednesday, January 19. Last map test of 8th grade!
Introduced the Cultural Comparison project - this will be due January 19th as well.

Science 8 - Francoeur

Reviewed Sections 1-2 for Chapter 3 Test (Next Wednesday, January 19).
Students read Section 3: The Cell and Inheritance beginning on p. 92 and completed their study guide. Students should also copy the diagram on p. 94-94 and take down the notes on the board for use on the test.
Study guides are due at the end of the hour.
Reminder: F & G prefix list was assigned last Friday - students need two science related words and definitions for each prefix. This list will be due on Friday when students will also have a quiz on the prefixes and their meanings.
