Lesson 2.8, Pt 2. Pages 118-120. Problems 28-30, 33, 34, 40, 45-48, 50, 55 and Quiz 3, 1-21.

Science 8

All Microscope study packets should be turned in today. 7th and 8th hours are finishing a microscope lab while 3rd and 4th hours just started it today.
WKCE testing tomorrow during 1-4th hours.
All Cell packet work should be finished no later than Friday...at the start of class! The "E" prefix list is due & the quiz is on Friday.

Social Studies 8

Middle School Computer Lab for students to finish, print, and submit their South America projects.
If you have been absent, or if your project is not completed, it is your responsibility to schedule a time when you can go the IMC to finish, or finish at home.
Remember to study for the South America Map test which is on Friday - spelling counts!

7th grade math (Moran)

Assignment due for Friday 10/16/09: Lesson 2-6, page 83-84. Problems 7-13 and 16-19. Remember to complete new terms in notebook!

Science 7

Read Chapter 2, section 2 (2.2) Heat Transfer. Complete Key Concepts and Terms in notebook for Friday 10/16/09. Please remember to write out the concepts and answer in complete sentences.

Literature 8


Chapter 10 was discussed. We read chapter 11 today in class. No class tomorrow due to WKCE testing schedule. Vocabulary assignment given.


Reminders:


Study questions for chapters 1-11 should be complete. I am checking chapters 6-11 for a participation grade on Friday.


Vocabulary review from chapter 10-11 was assigned...due on Friday.


A chapter 11 extra credit assignment was given...due on Friday.

8th gr. Spanish FLEX

We read the sentences that students wrote about family members. We practiced pronouncing the family vocabulary as well as the adjectives found on pages 48 and 49. Assignment due on Friday: Make a family tree using the large sheet of paper given to each student. It is recommended that each student do a rough draft before doing the final copy.

Health 7

Students learned about importance of reading an over the counter drug label. Students practiced finding information on the labels of different OTC products.

Health 8

Students practiced controlling bleeding and splinting in class today.
First Aid quiz on Friday.
