8th Grade Family and Consumer Education

Each class is working on thier restaurant simualtion experience.
Please ask you child about the "restaurant" thier class will be running.
An invitation should be coming home for you. Any extra help in the kitchen
your child does can be used as extra credit - as long as they are apart of the
clean-up!!

Science 8

Assignment corrected and then students completed the Flower Dissecting lab on pages 158-159 in their text.

Literature 8

Movies finished up today. First and second hours will be switching movies for the rest of the week.

Social Studies 7

Students practiced using a map scale to determine distance and the time it would take to fly to different destinations.

Science 7

Caves and cave features were discussed and slides were shown.

Applied Math

Notes on Section 3 - Americans in WWI
Students were encouraged to begin reviewing for the WWI test next Tuesday, and were given time to begin studying and/or make up any missing assignments.
Assignment: Read Section 4 (p. 735-739) and do the Section 4 (23.4) Vocab Worksheet
