Pre-Algebra

Chapter 10 review. Pages 505-506. Problems 1-36. Test on Thursday.

7th Grade-Mr. Smith

Lesson 7-8, pg. 315. Problems 7-22. Test on Thursday.

Algebra

Lesson 8.4, pgs 473-475. Problems 16-64 even. Test on Thursday.

Health 7

Read pp. 220-224, complete crossword, and study diagrams.

Test on Wed. Study pp. 159-165; 216-224 and the male/female reproductive diagrams.

Science 8

Our Algal Bloom assignment was corrected in class then we took a quiz on Protists. All notes and worksheets were allowed.
NO homework...but do remember the "P" list is due this Friday!
Science Showcase is April 19th.

Literature 8

Our questions from Contagion were corrected and we began another short story. Flowers for Algernon, by Daniel Keyes, starts on page 45 in out Literature text. We read through "Progress Report" 5 today.

Social Studies 8

Compare/Contrast essays are due today.
We began our Civil War unit today. Students will be taking notes that they will be able to use on the test. Students have had extensive practice determing what information is important, so notes should not be a stressful experience.
Assignment: Students received a two-day/ two-part assignment. The first part they will be able to complete after today's lecture. The second part they will be able to complete after tomorrow's lecture. The assignment is due on Wednesday (3/17).
The Civil War Test is scheduled for Thursday, March 25. The end of 3rd Quarter is Friday, March 26 - this is also the last day that any missing work will be accepted.
