Science 7

We again reviewed every entry that should be in the science notebook that will be collected tomorrow for the quarter 2 grade. There are a total of 9 assignments that I will be checking. We have gone over the assignments/entries that are expected to be included and the format needed.
Today we continued to review for the test tomorrow on Chapter 2 Weathering and Soil Formation.

Social Studies 7

Today we began our discussion on the variations in "English" dialect.

Algebra

Lesson 5.5 Part 2. Pages 304-306. Problems 58-63, 70-86 evens, and quiz 2 1-12. Quiz and note check on Thursday.

7th Grade Math

Lesson 5-6, pages 222-223. Problems 12-37 and 44-54. Note check on Thursday.

Pre-Algebra

Lesson 5-6, pages 234-235. Problems 8-29. Note check on Thursday.

Science 8

Presentation of Science Showcase began today. Our presentations should finish tomorrow. A chapter 4 test will be taken on Thursday. All notes/worksheets will be allowed.

The required Science Showcaseprojects are my version of a "science fair". If you are really interested in continuing your experience...I encourage you to enter your project in the Fort Atkinson Regional Science Fair. A flyer will be sent home with the classes on Thursday! We finished the movie today, organized our study review assignments, and worked together on a crossword puzzle (review for the book test). Be ready for the test on Wednesday! All study guides will be allowed as notes.

Social Studies 8

Discussed Chapter 14 (sections 1-2) about Poland, the Baltic States, Hungary, and the Czech Republic.
Assignment: Read Section 3 and complete the notes, also complete the Chapter 14 map due in class.
