8th gr. Spanish FLEX

Family trees were collected. Students had 10 minutes to study family vocabulary. Practice quiz on family vocabulary. We read pages 62-65 in textbook. QUIZ on family vocabulary on Wednesday, October 21st.

Science 8

The prefix list "E" was due today...and they took the quiz. A new list "F & G" was passed out. All classes finished a microscope lab...a quiz on the parts and functions is scheduled for Monday...STUDY! All cell packets should be completed today as well.

Literature 8

We corrected our vocabulary assignment due today and read Chapter 12. All study questions will be corrected this weekend (this is a participation grade as we answer/discuss them as we read).

Pre-Algebra

Lesson 2-7, pages 94-95. Problems 11-33 and 35-40. Check your answers for the evens 12-30. Fraction test next Wednesday, 10/21.

7th Grade Math-Mr. Smith

Chapter 2 Review, pages 96-98. Problems 9-30. Next Wednesday, 10/21 is the test.

Algebra

Chapter 2 Review on pages 122-124. Problems 2-52 even, odds are extra-credit. Next Wednesday, 10/21 is the test.

Social Studies 8

South America Map Test today.
Assignment: Label the physical and political maps of Europe. List the capitals for all the coutries. The Map Test on Europe will be November 2.

*Students who do not complete the assignment in class will have time in class on Monday except for 4th hour. We will not have 4th hour Social Studies on Monday due to the Red Ribbon assembly.
