1. All meiosis/baby project work needs to be completed today (much of this was done prior to break) Computer research will begin Tuesday.
2. A refresher assignment was given with the hour to complete it. Pages 105-106 1-19 and pg. 107 1-5 as extra credit.
3. All late/missing work was redistributed and due today.
4. Science Showcase is due Jan. 19th

Literature 8

A review of chapters 1-12 was passed out. Each chapter was summarized to help refresh our memories. Any missing work was redistributed and is due Tuesday.

Algebra

Lesson 5.1, pages 276-279. Problems 12-24 even, 26-39, and 42-56 even.

7th Grade Math

Lesson 5-1, pages 199-200. Problems 13-47.

Pre-Algebra

Lesson 5-1, pages 208-209. Problems 13-46 and 50-52.

Applied Math 7

We reviewed our Review from before break and discussed problems we didn't remember. Students were allowed to use their reviews and notes on today's test, and were also given the opportunity for tests to be checked over before they were turned in. No homework today.

Applied Math 8

3-7 Worksheets were due today for students who did not turn them in before break.
The class period was given for students to complete the Chapter 3 Review (p. 142-144 #1-59) Whatever is not finished in class is homework. Chapter 3 Test tomorrow.

Social Studies 8

Welcome back to school! Today we reviewed Chapter 11 (Europe) Sections 1-2 to refresh our brains after break. We identified the 5 bodies of water and 5 capital cities that will be on tomorrow's map quiz. Work to be done in class included reading sections 3-4 and completing the green note packet - note check tomorrow.

Homework - take your map home and study for the quiz!
