On line Virtual Cloning Lab today @ http://gslc.genetics.utah.edu/units/cloning

The chapter 4 test is tomorrow. We reviewed briefly and all were again encouraged to study for the test. It focuses on how mutations occur, how traits are inherited and understanding pedigree charts.

Literature 8

First hour: We are finished with the movie. I asked for similarities and differences between the movie and book for extra credit. I also assigned a Literary term review crossword for extra credit...in both classes.
Second Hour: We finished listening to the book. I checked all student's review questions. Sadly less than half were ready and totally completed. All re-checks will happen tomorrow at the start of class. The test is tomorrow.
Students were given class time to complete a quotation summary of the book. Describe the quote and what is happening at that point in the story. Due tomorrow.

Social Studies 8

Australia Map Test today.
Yet another opportunity to make up work (or a test or a quiz) from an absence before the end of the semester.
Just a reminder... there will be no "incompletes" so anything not done by the end of the day tomorrow will remain a zero.
