Algebra

Students worked on chapter 7 test.

7th grade math

Mid-chapter practice test, page 310, problems 1-20. Page 581, Lesson 7-4, problems 1-18. Test, quiz and notes tomorrow.

Pre-Algebra

Lesson 10-1, pages 472-473. Problems 16-53.

Science 8

Last work day in the computer lab. The students seem to be finishing up their projects quite nicely. Projects and definitions should be finished by tomorrow at the end of class.

Literature 8

We corrected our questions from Chapters 9-11. The class was asked to make a prediction about the end of the story. They could choose to write one half page or more or create an illustration with description.

Applied Math

Lesson 53 - Exponents

After a brief review of finding unit price, students learned about exponents.

Assignment - unit price and exponent practice problems/ exponent worksheet

Social Studies 8

Students read and discussed the first part of Chapter 3, Section 5. No Assignment today. Remember - there's a test on Chapter 3 coming up next Tuesday.

Social Studies 7

Students are continuing their work on their History Report.

Science 7

Today students participated in a Rock Lab test. Friday, there will be the written test on rocks.

7TH GRADE FRENCH

MONDAY MARCH 3 PROGRESS REPORTS ARE DUE. FRENCH VALENTINE NOTES ARE NOW DUE FOR PART OF GRADE AND ALSO THE MARDI GRAS COLORED JOKER. THIS WEEK WE HAVE TWO NEW VOCABULARY SHEETS IN OUR FOLDERS. (WHICH BY THE WAY NEED TO BE BROUGHT TO CLASS EVERYDAY.) THEY ARE A NUMBER VOCAB SHEET AND A UNIT PRELUDE VOCAB SHEET. GRADES THIS WEEK ARE FOCUSED ON LISTENING SKILLS AND PRONUNCIATION OF VOCABULARY. MAIN EFFORT IS THE WILLINGNESS TO TRY NEW SOUNDS.
