Completed an activity in class to demonstrate communication through the senses.

Completed skeleton model in class. Study bones for 5-10 minutes.

Science 8

Photosynthesis/chromatography lab today. Students were able to view plant cells and read about the effects of photosynthesis. They also will learn the truth behind pigments and what they really contain.

Literature 8

Presentations began today...what an awesome job! The rest will present tomorrow.

Social Studies 8

Today is Veteran's Day! Students went to an assembly today where they heard from local veterans about their experiences in the military and overseas.

In social studies we reviewed our Africa maps, countries, and capitals. Map Test is November 23. As a class we read about the history of ancient Egypt. Then we identified types of questions typically asked in textbooks and answered them.

Question packets were due at the end of the hour.
