Algebra

Lesson 6.2, pages 343-345. Problems 16-34 even, 37, 39, 43-51, 55, 60, 61, 64, 65.

7th Grade Math

Lesson 6-3, pages 250-251. Problems 15-37 and 44-54. Mid-chapter test and quiz on Friday.

Pre-Algebra

Lesson 7-3, pages 328-329. Problems 6-18 and 23-28. Mid-chapter test and quiz on Friday.

Science 7

We have completed taking notes and are still discussing water erosion and deposition, chapter 3 section 2. We will hopefully begin our lab tomorrow, please remember to bring in newspaper, paint and/or paint brushes if you have any available.

Social Studies 7

We finished correcting our Unit 7 History readings. The students will have to their topics for the upcoming Social Studies/Language Arts Project

Science 8

All classwork from last week was returned. We reviewed section 1 and 2 from chapter one today. An "Alien Taxonomic Key" assignment was given. The students were also warned of a possible SURPRISE POP QUIZ on WEDNESDAY!

Literature 8

Realistic Fiction:
We read/listened to The Moustache. Questions page 149 Reading Check a-d and #3 &4 are due on Tuesday.

Applied Math 7

Lesson 53: Powers of 10
Assignment: Complete Set 53 - some done together in class

Applied Math 8

Corrected Friday's assignment and reviewed Slope.
Assignment: complete the 4-7 packet

Health 8

Students completed their skeleton models in class and worked on bone identification.

Assignment: Read pp. 12-19 and complete study guide for Wednesday..

Health 7

Students learned examples of communication barriers through several activities.

Assignment: Finish wrap-up worksheet if not finished in class.

Social Studies 8


Students worked together to review the taxes and regulations imposed on American colonists by the British. Then groups worked through p. 112-116 of their textbooks to determine the British actions and America reactions that began the American Revolution.
