Today we prepared for the zoo field trip on Monday: Rain or Shine
We also reviewed for the vertebrate test tomorrow. The students will be allowed to use a study chart and vocabulary from chapters 3-4.

We compared the play to a selection from the original story.

Social Studies 8

Students finished taking notes (for the year, hooray!) on the end of WWII. Notes were turned in at the end of the hour for a grade.
Assignment: Orange packet that reviews the War in the Pacific, the end of the war, and the aftermath of the war. These packets are due tomorrow.

*Students were given Video Viewing Permission slips to be signed and returned by next Wednesday, June 3. We will be watching "Pearl Harbor" this year, and since it is rated PG-13 it is important that parents give permission. Students without signed permission slips will not be allowed to watch the movie.
