No Class today...Middle School Dance

Science 7

Due to the Valentine's Day Dance, I did not see all science classes. The classes I did see continued to work on section3, The Force of Water. They began working on the GRS for the section.

Social Studies 7

The social studies classes continued their research in the IMC today.

Social Studies 8

3rd and 4th Hours Only - Students were assigned certain events or eras in American history to research with a group. Groups will make aposter and do a presentation to the class to teach their class about these important events between the American Revolution and the Civil War.

Health 7

Students learned about healthy ways to handle anger and how to use "I-statements". Complete worksheet (I-Messages & How Would You Handle Your Anger?) if not finished in class.

Health 8

Students went to the follwing website to use as a study tool for the skeletal and muscular systems until their unit test:

Students can use the self tests and the timed tests on this website for bone and muscle identification. Pop quizzes will be given periodically.

Students should turn their Health Goal journals in on Friday 2/20. A signature by their accountability partner is required for credit.
