Today the students had a land formation lab. They worked in groups to form the 3 main types of land formations that we are studying out of salt dough. They also made a map of the continental United States and showed its topography. The maps will dry over night and the students will continue to work on them tomorrow (making legends, painting, explaining the concepts of elevation as it is related to relief, and more).

Social Studies 7

We discussed the review part 2 for tomorrow's test. The students were given the two review assignments that were completed and corrected in class to use as a study guide for tomorrow's test. These reviews must be turned in tomorrow in order to receive full credit.

7th Grade Math

Lesson 4-3, pages 162-163. Problems 4-41. Extra credit due tomorrow.

Social Studies 8

Today we reviewed ALL sections of Chapter 9 for the Quiz on Monday. We also reviewed the Chapter 9 map for the Map Quiz tomorrow. Remember, the note check is also tomorrow, so make sure all your study guides are filled in.
Students were given a 10 question vocabulary worksheet as an in-class assignment - these should have been turned in before leaving.

The last 15 minutes of class time were given for students to study for the map quiz and the chapter quiz.

Parents, if you are concerned that you haven't seen any social studies homework, maps and study guides can be taken home. Quiz questions come right off the study guides, so if you would like to help your child study for Monday's quiz, have them bring home their study guides home and go over that information with them.

Pre-Algebra
