Algebra

Chapter 10 review, pages 634-636. Problems 1-32. Chapter 10 test on Wednesday along with note check.

7th grade math

Lesson 12-2 and 12-3 worksheets. Mid-chapter test and quiz tomorrow. Note grade tomorrow.

Pre-Algebra

Lesson 12-5, pages 582-583. Problems 12-40-42-46.

Science 8

We corrected and discussed our Arthropod lab and assignment. We finished Invertebrates with Echinoderms. Test on Invertebrates on Wednesday. Science Showcase on Thursday.

Literature 8

We corrected and discussed our assignment from part 1 of "Flowers for Algernon"
We started part 2...we should finish tomorrow.

Applied Math

Lesson 84 - Circles/Investigating Circumference

Assignment: Quiz 84 (open book), p. 376 practice (a and b only), p. 378 #12-30

Social Studies 8

Reviewed Chapter 25 and introduced the Chapter 25 Project - a WPA scavenger hunt.
Students will be using internet and print resources to find examples of work created in Wisconsin during the 1930s because of the Works Progress Administration - one of the programs we learned came about because of the New Deal. Students will be either writing descriptions of these works or printing or recreating them in some way. They will be logging their finds and also showing on a map of Wisconsin where these works can be found. Students will be working in groups which were chosen today and will have Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the IMC to complete this project.

Assignment: Chapter 25 Review p. 797-798 #1-9 and 12; p. 799 #1-7

Social Studies 7

Students worked on a Political Science Crossword Puzzle.

Science 7

Students watched a video about Dinosaurs. A general overview of the Geologic Time Project was discussed and topics were assigned. The Project will be worked on during class periods and a due date has not yet been established.
