8th gr. Spanish FLEX
We practiced counting in Spanish from 1 - 60. We reviewed how to tell time in Spanish. The Spanish sentences about the students' schedules were written on the board and corrected. We covered pages 76 - 77 in the textbook.
Social Studies 8
Students are now working on reading and taking notes independently. Today's assignment is to read Chapter 11, Section 3 (The Mexican-American War) starting on p. 354 and to put the important information in standard outline form. This is a lengthy section. Students had the entire class period to get started, so take home work should be minimal.

Today we discussed the characteristics of animal-like protists. A paramecium reading and structure assignment was given.

Today first hour continued to read Contagion.
Second Hour finished up late projects and had the opportunity to play some of the wonderful student created games.
