8th gr. Spanish FLEX

We practiced counting in Spanish from 1 - 60. We reviewed how to tell time in Spanish. The Spanish sentences about the students' schedules were written on the board and corrected. We covered pages 76 - 77 in the textbook.

Pre-Algebra

Lesson 10-6, pages 498-499. Problems 12-49. Extra-credit 50-63.

7th Grade Math-Mr. Smith

Lesson 7-6, page 318. Problems 13-41 and 43-49.

Algebra

Lesson 8.1, Part 2. Pages 453-455. Problems 59-75, 82, 87, 90, 95, 100, 105.

Social Studies 8

Students are now working on reading and taking notes independently. Today's assignment is to read Chapter 11, Section 3 (The Mexican-American War) starting on p. 354 and to put the important information in standard outline form. This is a lengthy section. Students had the entire class period to get started, so take home work should be minimal.

Applied Math 7

Lesson 78: Adding Signed Numbers

Applied Math 8

Lesson 6-6: Dividing Fractions and Mixed Numbers

Science 8

Today we discussed the characteristics of animal-like protists. A paramecium reading and structure assignment was given.

Literature 8

Today first hour continued to read Contagion.
Second Hour finished up late projects and had the opportunity to play some of the wonderful student created games.
