Students answered math problems from different catagories including Rates, Percents, Decimals to Fractions, Square Root, Expanded Notation, and Powers of 10. Students who submitted their answer sheets will receive extra credit for correct answers.

Extra copies of the most popular assignments to be missing have been made available.**

English/Lit 7

English -
The students will be receiving homework that will be due by Thursday. It is a short assignment entitled "Persuasion is all around us." The students will find an example of persuasion--an article in the newspaper, a letter to the editor, a movie or book review, a commercial, an advertisement, etc. They will be filling out four short questions on a half sheet of paper and bringing this and their persuasive item (if possible) back to me.

Lit 7 -
We are cruising along with Freak the Mighty. We are also working on a character collage, which is replacing study guides for the chapters. The students are considering various perspectives as well as using their creativity to complete this project. We will have a "chapter check" in class tomorrow. This is a short, easy "quiz" that checks for understanding or that students are completing the assigned reading.
