Well I do believe I forgot to fill in my blog yesterday...sorry. We took the chapter 2 test.

Today we began a multi-day mini human body unit in preparation for our field trip next week. The students will be working in small groups learning about some of our major body systems. We began with the skeletal system today. Activities include diagrams, concept maps and labs.

Applied Math

Lesson 58: Mixed Measures/ Adding Mixed Measures
We discussed the importance of showing work - that it is important to show all steps on paper. Not only does this help us practice skills, but when everything is written down, it is not as easy to skip a step.
