7th Grade Math

Lesson 11-1, pages 472-473. Problems 13-44 and 46-49.

Pre-Algebra

Lesson 12-1, pages 562-563. Problems 9-31 and 37-40.

Algebra

Lesson 10-1, pages 580-582. Problems 20-62 even, 65, 66, and 80-85.

Health 7

Students took their Human Growth and Development test in class today. Students who were gone due to the track meet need to make up the test druing a study hall or come in after school on Tuesday to take the test.

Track students should be coming in ahead of time to get work they will miss because of away meets. Very few students are doing this.

Health 8

Students learned how to check an unconscious victim.

Science 8

Invertebrate review activity of Sponges, Cnidarian and Worms. Sponge lab too! No homework if lab is completed.

I Am the Cheese...We read pages 136-151 together. A review assignment is due tomorrow.

Language Arts - 8 (5/11-5/15)

This week we are starting off with out district writing assessment.

The prompt is, "If you could travel to any period in the past or future, where would you chose, or would you prefer to stay in the present. Explain your answer."

Monday we will be brainstorming and beginning the rough draft, Tuesday we will finish the rough draft and revise, and Wednesday the final must be completed in class.

Social Studies 8

We began our WWII unit today by discussing the totalitarian governments that came into power after WWI.
Assignment: Students need to read p. 808-809 - describe the Lend-Lease Act and explain when and why American became involved in WWII.
