Investigation and Presentation of Campaigns and Offensives
Requirements

2 maps with keys
Map showing planned offensive (if you were trying to communicate the goal of the plan through a map, what would it look like?)
Map showing locations of actual battles fought and territory gained or lost (the result map)


1 Write-Up
Description of the plan (Who’s idea was this plan? What was the purpose or goal of this plan?)

Description of the actual offensive (Include starting and ending dates, countries involved in the fighting, list of actual battles and their outcomes)

Analysis of the offensive
How did what actually happen differ from the plan?
Was this plan a good idea? Why or why not?
Was this plan a success? Why or why not?


1 group presentation to include
Information from your write-up
An explanation of your maps to the class


Due Dates
Maps and write-ups are due Monday, April 27th at the end of social studies class
ALL presentations will be Wednesday, April 29th
